Christmas in July: Day Six is so very special because it coincides with the birthday of the sewing machine! That's right! Today the sewing machine turns 159 years old! The sewing machine has really changed over the years - from the Singer treadle machine to the modern machines of today with touchscreens and computers!
So, how does this relate to Christmas? Well, here at QBTB we have a wonderful Gammill Statler Stitcher named Belle. We just love her and she quilts beautifully. In honor of her we are going to share some of the Christmas quilts she has recently completed!
