These Trio Patterns are just too cute for words!

This Believing Tree is a great quilt to make for grandchildren - every child needs a holiday quilt for their room! The quilt finishes 72"x72" and uses the I Believe panel for the Christmas Tree accents.

...And you can't escape Christmas without some Fruitcake! This, though, is the yummiest of Fruitcake as it is baked with love by Moda!

Above is a bit more of the holiday flannels we have in the store and online - super soft for the cold weather and just adorable! The snowmen are so happy!

These fabrics are also great for kids and grandkids - filled with antique toys this would be great for holiday pillowcases or made into reusable holiday gift bags!

If you love florals then this is the Christmas fabric for you! Fancy Hill Farm by RJR Fabrics is a very elegant Christmas line. The best part, we have the entire line by the bolt and we also have the Charm Pack!

The Christmas Charm Tree Skirt is the perfect way to use the Fancy Hill Farm Charm Pack! The Christmas Charm Tree skirt can also serve as a wall hanging or table topper pattern - so just in case it is too hard to cut the quilt and make it into a tree skirt you can still use it! (We think the hardest part of making a tree skirt is having to cut the quilt so it will go around the tree!) The pattern requires 60 charms so you will need 2 of the charm packs. Finished size is 45" square

Today we are featuring some amazing Christmas fabric lines. They are wonderful and fabulous! Whether you make a tree skirt, a table runner, or a lap quilt these fabrics will make your home cozy and holiday ready!

"Noel" is just incredible. Such a peaceful representation of the classic poinsettia plant. This fabric would look so great used as a table topper with a live poinsettia centerpiece at Christmas dinner.

Holiday Renaissance is not your traditional red and green line of fabric, but nonetheless, still festive and happy! This is a great alternative when decorating your home for the holidays. You could decorate your tree with gold, bronze, and silver ornaments and it would just sparkle for the season! Use this fabric as the tree skirt and your tree will be breathtakingly beautiful!

...Because we have Santa Madness, of course!

Our store is decorated and we are just having a blast with our 12 days of Christmas - we hope you are, too! Below are several Santa projects that are not only fun to make but work great in your home or as a gift. Like we said in our Newsletter yesterday, it is hard to enjoy the holidays when you are bogged down with preparation. Hopefully, these daily ideas will help you get ahead of schedule for the holidays!

This Vintage Yo Yo Santa is a great way to use some of the leftovers you may have in your stash from last year. We also have the accessory kit available so your Santa is as cute as the pattern!

And of course we have a little Stumpy Santa that will be perfect for your table or mantle. We love this kit because it includes EVERYTHING you need - even the jingle bell!

The Happy Hollow Stick Santa is perfect for decorating your home - we have him right when you walk in the store and he will work just as well in your foyer, living room, or landing of your steps. Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow! Here at QBTB we don't really have to worry about snow...not since 1989 has it snowed in Panama City, FL! That doesn't mean we don't enjoy a warm quilt and a warm treat during the holiday season...

This Christmas Flannel Just Snow quilt is Oh So Soft and Comfy for a warm night in - perfect to use to keep warm on the couch while you work on binding or yo-yos for another project!

While you enjoy the warmth of this flannel quilt you can satisfy your sweet tooth with your own personal Mug of Chocolate Cake! That's right, in the cold weather all you need is a flannel quilt and a personal sized warm chocolate cake! Warning: this Muggle Cake as we call it is quite messy in the microwave so don't fill your mug too too too full! (It is worth the mess...trust us!)

Muggle Cake:
Mix 4 tablespoons of flour with 9 tablespoons of hot chocolate mix.
Now add 3 tablespoons of water, 3 tablespoons of oil, and 1 egg.
Make sure it is mixed just like you would a cake mix.
Pop it in the microwave for 3 minutes and TADA! ...you have a personal chocolate cake!

Here is an example...we used an oversized mug just to prevent the overflow...not the most beautiful mug in the cabinet but it worked!


Now head over to your couch, turn on "It's a Wonderful Life," cuddle up under your flannel Christmas quilt and enjoy the cake!

I'll be home for Christmas! ...as long as home is on Holly Lane! We are in love with this quilt - close your eyes and imagine a wonderful, snow-covered village...add a great sewing machine and we would move right in!

This Holy Lane Quilt Kit includes everything you need for the quilt top and binding. And don't worry, there are no templates involved in the making of this quilt. The applique is very easy so don't let that discourage you. If you already love to applique we know you will love this!

Coming home is another great part of the Christmas holiday season. Whether you are the host or are traveling with family - the fond memory of "home" prevails. ...what sort of home is tasty? A Gingerbread House! Since we like to spend most of our time quilting and minimal time in the kitchen - here at QBTB we opt for Gingerbread house cookies versus building the entire house! This is a great idea for the holidays when you have grandkids visiting! Here is a simple recipe:

1 pouch of Gingerbread Cookie Mix - we just buy any brand of mix and prepare as directed. (Betty Crocker is tried and true!) Make squares and triangles out of the dough and bake!Next, decorate! White Frosting, M&Ms, Twizzlers, and Candy Canes are all that you need. How fun is it to make a gingerbread house match your quilt? You may even be able to convince those grandkids to make a quilt block or two with you if they know cookies are on the way!

Welcome back to our Blog! (Again!)

Well, we are moving our blog…again! We promise we won’t confuse you anymore – this is the last time we will switch! Officially beginning today we are going to provide you with tips and tricks, extra pictures of our newest fabrics, and even some contests and fun – all from our blog, Facebook, and Twitter!

Our website will also be redesigned over the next few weeks. We are going to make it a bit easier to find the fabric, kit, pattern, or other item you may be looking for. Our favorite part? ...It will be easier to share with your friends and easier to use your Wishlist! That’s right – you can create a Wishlist and send it to your friends and family when it is time for them to buy for you! No more slippers and toasters at Christmas time this year! Yippee!

So, our first blog post to follow later today marks the beginning of our Christmas in July Extravaganza! Everyday our “Santa Claus” a.k.a our friendly UPS guy, has been bringing us the most beautiful gifts and we are so excited to share them with you! Over the next 12 days we will post them all and even add in some of our favorite holiday traditions and recipes!
